The Princess and Prince of Wales posted a photo online to mark their 12th wedding anniversary.

The photo shows the ‘royal couple’ on bikes in Norfolk during the sunny weather. The photo is from last year.

The couple has an official Twitter account where they share their photo with the world. The caption was simple, “12 years” with a heart emoji.

The pair spent time in Wales abseiling off a cliff on Thursday and Friday, visiting Aberfan Memorial Garden and ordering a pizza.

The couple exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey on 29 April 2011 after an 8-year relationship.

The marriage of William to his former university flatmate was one royal event the world witnessed in 2011, with 2,000 filling the abbey.

The grand affair featured two receptions, two dresses, a carriage procession through central London, flypasts, and two kisses on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
Nearly 25 million people in the UK tuned in to watch the grand affair live on television. In addition, the ceremony was televised with an estimated worldwide TV audience of nearly two billion.

The couple has a great family with three children, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7), and Prince Louis (5).

The couple got the name Prince and Princess of Wales by King Charles last September after the Queen’s death.
