One of the famous South Korean singer and rapper Min Yoongi known as Suga of BTS (his stage name) took the stage on Jimmy Fallon’s, The Tonight Show.
The 30-year-old K-pop star and a member of the famous boyband BTS performed his song ‘Haegeum‘ on one of the latest episodes aired on Monday on NBC’s late-night show.
‘Haegeum‘ is the song of one of Suga’s debut studio albums, D-Day. The singer also released the album and a music video for ‘Haegeum‘ under the name Agust D in April 2023.
In the interview with Jimmy Fallon, Suga thanked BTS‘ fan base, ARMY, for their overwhelming support.
He added, “I am in the middle of a tour, so I am a little bit lost, so I wasn’t able to see all the results, but I am glad ARMY is loving my music.”
The singer further explains the meaning behind the album title D-Day, saying, “I named the album D-Day to liberate myself from the shackles in my life.”
We all know Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show is incomplete without games, so they also played ‘Imposter Challenge,’ where they tasted identical-looking foods, one of which tasted terrible. Both Fallon and Suga tried to convince the audience that they tasted good food.
Suga rose to fame with BTS, comprising the rest six members including RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. However, the group has taken a break to fulfill their mandatory military services in South Korea and anticipated to get back together by 2025.
