Hi guys, today, we’ll discuss an upcoming children’s middle-grade graphic novel- “Fry Guys.” This fun graphic novel tells the story of three friends who want to have an adventure from their boring “Spudtown.” They certainly get to have one when aliens come to their town, and they are the only ones to save it!

Ups

The puns are so good!

This novel that I will detail puts a smile on my face throughout the drive through the graphic novel. If you like food, you’ll love this version of your favorite fried foods.

The idea:

The food in the town of junk food is so unique and cute! I loved how the community came together and had a blast while fighting off the villain. The most original is one of the best middle crane novels I have read!

The characters:

All the characters are so lovely! They are like Ghostbusters but make them food and for children. All are different, and they play parts so nicely!

Dyslexia Free

I love it when publishers consider that the font they use in their children’s publications is Dyslexia free so that anyone can enjoy the book! This is always a thing to be appreciated!

The only thing that I would point out:

The illustrations are made for young children and are very childish. Don’t take me wrong, I love the book as it is, but I would have appreciated it more if the illustrations were a little more precise.

Overall

The story of Fry Guys goes with the wild imagination of the kids that I think not only children but all people who like puns and comedies (definitely the ones you like fried foods.) will adore.

This is not a sponsored review. I have received the ARC from NetGalley. All views about the book are my own.
